Come join us for an afternoon of Jewish Culture & Food and activities for the entire family.
When: Sunday, August 21, 2011, 12:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Where: Congregation B'nai Israel, 193 Clapboard Ridge Road (Route 39) in Danbury; Parking is at St. Anne's Melkite Church just south of the synagogue. A free shuttle to the synagogue is available.
Cost: Free!

Sam, Charlie and Marcia sing Israeli Songs at Bnai Israel SummerFest

Entertainment:
- 12:10-12:40: Barbara Kessler (guitar and vocals) will perform Jewish favorites
- 12:40- 1:25: Klezmer, Israeli and Yiddish Music with the Not Yet Ready For Primetime Klezmer Band
- 1:25-2:10: Israeli Folkdancing with Willa Horowitz
- 2:10-3:00: The Christina Hall Quartet, a band of talented musicians from Long Island, will play Jewish traditional music as well as some non-Jewish music
- 3:00-3:45: Marcia Klebanow (keyboard) and friends will sing Hebrew and Jewish Songs
- 3:45-4:00: Ken Isman
- 4:00-4:45: Israeli Folkdancing with Willa Horowitz
- 4:45-5:15: Isaac and Rachel Ohring will play original and traditional Klezmer tunes on the violin, accompanied by Peter Ohring on guitar.

Family Activities Free activities for children will be offered throughout the festival. Please check back later in the summer for details.
Silent Auction: Dozens of items will be auctioned off at the festival.
The schedule for the auctions is
First auction: 12:30 to 2:30, winners announced at 2:45
Second auction: 3:00 to 5:00, winners announced at 5:15
